The Lightning made it a victorious start to the road trip, defeating the Blackhawks 4-1 at the United Center on Tuesday.

Tampa Bay started slow and fell behind less than five minutes into the first period on a Seth Jones goal. That's all the Bolts would surrender, however, closing the game with four unanswered goals - including three in the third - to cruise to a fourth-straight win.

Playing against the Blackhawks for the first time since being traded to Tampa Bay at last year's deadline, Brandon Hagel had the primary assist on the game-winner and scored an insurance marker midway through the third for his 15th goal of the season.

Brian Elliott got the start between the pipes in the first half of the back-to-back and earned his eighth win of the season with 25 saves.

The Bolts now depart for Minnesota, where they'll face the Wild on Wednesday.
